Thank you so much to everyone that supported our Spring Celebration! You’ve ensured that even more students gain access to the transformative power of hands-on learning, on-water experiences, and life-changing educational programming.
It was truly a night to remember, as we celebrated over twenty years of serving NYC youth, and envisioned the future impact we’ll have on the next generation of learners and leaders.
During the Spring Celebration, we premiered the short film below - showcasing our shining students across both of our programs, along with all the hard work they’ve done, and the many adventures we’ve embarked on in the past year. We’re so proud of how far they’ve come!
Our bright-eyed class at P.S. 005/The Dr. Ronald E. McNair School joined us in the New York Yacht Club’s Model Room, smiling from ear-to-ear as they got to know our wonderful community members - later taking the stage as recipients of the Student Achievement Award.
We were honored to have Matthew Rhys as our MC, who lit up the room with his electric energy! In a live Q&A with our student boatbuilders, Caitlyn spoke about the discoveries she’s made through hands-on learning and her aspiration to become an archaeologist, while Arabella reflected on the confidence she’s gained, sharing that “girls can do anything boys can do.”
Our Spring Celebration was our most successful yet - a night that will have a lasting impact on the students we serve, setting the course for another exciting season ahead for our students. We’re unbelievably grateful to our community of supporters, whose powerful and dedicated commitment continues to drive our mission forward! THANK YOU!
