On June 10th-June 11th 2026, our junior boat builders participated in the Brooklyn Boatworks Boat Launch, held at the Brooklyn Bridge Marina! After a cheerful graduation ceremony, our students sailed on Optimist prams that they built during the school year.
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers and supporters - shoutout to the amazing Matthew Rhys for hosting the graduation ceremony, Brooklyn Bridge Marina for providing us with the space, and to our lovely friends at Sail250, SUNY Maritime, The Sterling Harbor Foundation and Centre Island Bird Sanctuary for joining us!
