As the pile of plywood transforms into actual, beautiful sailboat, the students’ sense of pride and confidence grows. The values and skills our student gain serve them throughout life. | Boat building and boating are extracurricular activities usually offered to young people living in middle and upper class suburban communities, not those in the inner city. We rely on donations to keep our programs going. Please donate generously.
We are currently a program of the Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies, an alternative public middle and high school serving a diverse student body.
